FAQ
Questions about the backlink checker.
What is a referring domain?
A different website that links to the site at least once. Ten links from one site are one referring domain.
Is a backlink the same as a referring domain?
No. A backlink is a single link; one referring domain can send many backlinks.
What does the domain rank mean?
A 0–100 rank of a site's link profile from our link index. Higher means stronger links. It is a relative measure, not a Google metric.
What is a broken backlink?
A link that points to a page on the site that no longer loads. Fixing or redirecting that page wins the link back.
