FAQ
Questions about the serp simulator.
Why pixels and not characters?
Google cuts titles and descriptions by width. A capital W is about three times wider than an i, so two titles with the same number of characters can be cut in different places.
What are the limits?
About 600 pixels for the title and about 960 pixels for the description on desktop, at Google's font sizes.
Does Google always show my title and description?
No. Google may rewrite them to match the search. A clear title and description that fit make that less likely.
Does this tool send my text anywhere?
No. The preview is calculated in your browser.
