Credits come with the plan. Every scan, report and AI run draws on the allowance in your subscription. Nothing here needs an account with an outside data provider, and there is no second bill. Top-up packs are $29 for 1,000 credits — but moving up a plan is always the cheaper way to get more.
Most tools quote a subscription and leave the credit burn as a surprise. These are real totals at a weekly cadence — and how much of the allowance is still sitting there at the end of the month.

Billing questions
The software and the data behind it: the scanner, the trackers, the report builder, the history, the updates, and a monthly credit allowance that covers your scanning. One account, one invoice. If you use more than the allowance, you buy additional credits inside Rankfinity.
You do not need one for normal use. From the second paid plan upwards you can connect your own key for a supported AI provider, and those AI requests then draw no Rankfinity credits. That is not the same as free: the provider bills your own account for whatever you run through it. Not every AI source supports a customer key in the same way, so the options are listed per provider.
You pay the subscription and nothing else. Scans are manual or on a schedule you set per project, so nothing runs unless you asked for it, and every account carries a monthly spend cap that applies to scheduled runs as well.
Monthly plans change or stop at the end of the period, with no exit fee and no phone call. Yearly plans carry the same freedom from the next renewal. Your projects and scan history stay in place while the account exists.
Nothing. The purchase includes twelve months of updates; after that the install keeps running exactly as it is. Renew if you want the newer versions. Nobody can raise your price, sunset the product or lock your history.
